First Support Meeting at Maggies in Cheltenham
Keeping Abreast South West (KASW) had it's very first support coffee morning at Maggies in Cheltenham on Saturday 11th June 2016.
Thank you so much to Samantha and her team at Maggies for making us feel so very welcome.
The ladies that attended ranged from those having had reconstruction, those just about to have reconstruction in the coming weeks through to those coming along to gain more information to see if it is what they wanted. General discussion with smiles and a few tears all make our support meetings worthwhile.
The Show & Tell session at the end hopefully will take some of the fear out of what is a big decision. Thank you to our volunteer Ruth for sharing alongside myself.
